Amapiano has gifted us with so many talented artists, producers and singers. This has never been more true with this new artist, Nvcho. He made a killer debut on a Major League track and has since brought more hits!
Nvcho is an incredible upcoming artist whose flow and lyrics have grabbed the attention of many! This gent has an undeniably CRAZY pen game. If you're still wondering what I'm on about, have a listen to Major League's "Bakwa Lah"!
Unathi Jafta, better known as Nvcho is a rising star from Kwa-Thema, a township in the East of Johannesburg. He is currently under the management of the 'Smanje manje' promoters, Deadly Combo and he's the voice behind that Major League track 'Bakwa Lah' track, which features his label mates C4 DJs and Deejay Mathandos, that has been running the streets wild... and just judging by what he did on that track, you know the boy has much more to offer!
Nvcho describes working with the amapiano duo, Major League, as a dream come true. "I was super happy, excited and proud of myself because it proves that making my dreams come true, is possible!"; the rising star says, while reminiscing on the making of Bakwa Lah.
Since hearing him on the chart topping track, many have compared Nvcho to Daveyton-born star, Young Stunna saying that they sound similar which Nvcho celebrates by saying they are both representing the East Rand and the pie is big enough for more artists because "at the end of the day, we all bring our own unique vibe to the music we make."
Nvcho is also featured on 'Chomi Yam' by Soul Revolver and he is tracklisted on Uncle Waffles' upcoming EP, Red Dragon. "I felt honoured working with her because she’s creative and she makes it easy to work with her because she gives positive energy." ,says Nvcho describing the experience of working with the DJ.
Everyone in it, describes the music industry differently and for Nvcho, he says the easiest thing about it is that he can write, sing and produce his own music, so whenever he's ready to hop into studio he can just go for it and the hardest thing was his concerns about how peoople would receive his music and whether or not they would relate to it the way he intends, especially because the inspiration behind his sound and writing style is based on his experiences and feelings.
The lyricist promises a whole lot of new music pretty soon as he has been in studio, baking more hits! So when they ask ukuthi ibakwa uban, the answer is simple - ibakwa uNvcho!
