In the depths of the night, in the streets of just about anywhere in South Ahh , you will find one of the hottest MCs with the mic in his hand enticing the crowd with his ever-so-catchy chants, luring everyone in for a good time.
Thando Sibeko, a.k.a Uncool MC, hails from the East of Johannesburg, where he first explored and mastered his skillful mic work. Fresh out of lockdown, Uncool immersed with plans to take the streets by storm, setting his sights on growing and exploring his talents.
Between now and the inception of Uncool MC as an entertainer, he has performed on an endless number of stages and some of the biggest events, such as Fact Durban Rocks and the latest one being Cotton Fest 2023 where he performed alongside DBN GOGO!
Their set was one for the books, even getting a nod from DJ Venom!
Fun fact about Uncool - he started as a DJ. He enjoyed interacting with the crowd from behind the booth which piqued his interest on how it would feel from in front of the booth and that’s what led him to explore being an MC. But of course, that set the trail for his next exploration – making music! He has shown off his penmanship on a few tracks that he is featured on namely, ‘oTsotsi’ by Kwenyama Brothers and ‘Sela’ by Cyfred & DBN GOGO. Uncool promises that the streets will be raving more about his music as he plans on releasing more music this year!
